Global Network Outage Affects Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance; Patient Care Unaffected

Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) is currently experiencing a global network outage affecting our systems. This outage has impacted our ability to access electronic records and utilize certain digital services.

Patient care remains our top priority, and we can confirm that patient care services are not affected at this time. Our healthcare professionals continue to provide uninterrupted care using established protocols and procedures.

This network issue is not related to cyber security; it is a technical issue currently being addressed by our IT team. We have enacted our contingency plans to mitigate any impact on patient care and operational efficiency.

"We understand this may cause concern among our community and partners," said Lynanne Mason, Vice President Partnerships, Transformation & Chief Nursing Executive. "Rest assured, our team is working diligently to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. In the meantime, patient care remains our primary focus, and our healthcare professionals are actively delivering uninterrupted care despite the network outage. You will be contacted directly should there be any changes to your care."

We encourage anyone with questions or concerns, including patients and family members, to contact their specified care team directly. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
