Service Description: Mental Health & Addictions Court Support provides guidance and support to individuals living with mental health and/or addiction who are navigating the criminal justice system.

Program offers:
  • court navigation and support
  • court diversion, which is used to divert individuals from the regular criminal justice stream into the mental health system, where they can get treatment and support
  • case management and collaboration with community partners
  • one-on-one  counselling
  • release from custody planning - working with incarcerated individuals to develop a successful discharge plan, which may include referral to housing supports, substance use counselling, case management or counselling support

Application: Call * no referral required
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Must be 16 years of age and older who:
  • are living with a serious mental health and/or addictions concerns
  • have current involvement with the criminal justice system
  • re willing to enter the program and develop a recovery plan

Language Note: Attempts will be made to provide service in other languages as requested
