Service Description: Supports to Deaf and hard of hearing individuals to find a job and succeed by working with employees and employers to put the right supports in place * employment consultants can provide help with:
  • job search challenges related to hearing loss
  • career planning
  • resume and cover letter writing
  • help preparing for interviews
  • accessing funds for work related expenses, such as appropriate clothing, training, or assistive devices including hearing aids
Fees: Support services are free * set fees for devices and sign language interpreting services
Application: Call ahead * some providers may require a referral before a visit
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Persons 16 years of age and older with disabilities who are unemployed
