Service Description: Outpatient and inpatient testing of specimens from patients for diagnostic purposes

Services include:
  • Core Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation and Immunohematology (Blood Bank) testing
  • Point of Care Testing Coordination and Management
  • Specimen collection
  • Electrocardiography (ECG) - Diagnostic testing of the electrical activity within a persons heart
  • Holter Monitoring - Diagnostic testing of the electrical activity of a persons heart over a period of time, usually 1 to 3 days * Mon-Fri 1pm-3pm
  • Stress Testing - Diagnostic testing of an individual’s heart while undergoing stress in a controlled environment
  • Loop recorders
Other tests are referred to Stratford General Hospital and other reference laboratories
Fees: Most fees are covered by OHIP
