Service Description: Supports for the activities of daily living and personal care

Respite day program for young adults with complex needs (physical or physical/cognitive needs requiring 24-hour care) as they move from school to community

Program objectives are to enhance personal wellness, promote lifelong learning, foster community participation and develop life and daily living skills
  • adult education/literacy activities
  • life skill training
  • health and wellness activities (fitness, yoga, nutrition)
  • peer support and socialization opportunities
  • leisure and recreation activities
  • community involvement (day trips, shopping, volunteering)
  • massage therapy, pet therapy, physiotherapy and occupational therapy, as prescribed by registered professionals
Fees: Free for up to 20 hours * set hourly fee for addditional hours
Application: Call * referral required for free hours
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Adults 18 years and older with disabilities
Languages: English ; French
