Service Description: Information and processing of Canadian passport applications * passports can normally be obtained in 20 working days from the date of application (10 working days if done in person)

Passports can be picked up by the applicant or (if the application was submitted in person) a person authorized by the applicant through a letter of authorization

Standard adult, child, and passport renewal applications can be also submitted to a Service Canada Centre
Fees: 5-year adult passport $120 * 10-year adult passport $160 * child passport $57 (15 years and younger) * different fees for urgent/express pick up and people living outside Canada
Application: In person or by mail * passport application forms available online * requires original proofs of citizenship, documents to support your identity, and two identical and unaltered photos taken within the last six months by a commercial photographer or studio (eyes visible, mouth closed, no smiling) * additional documents may be required
