Service Description: Treatment for children and adolescents with a diagnosis of anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder or an Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified. Treatment can include psychiatric care, ongoing medical care to prevent complications caused by the eating disorder, group therapy, family therapy, individual therapy and advice about healthy eating.
Application: Each patient must be referred by an attending medical physician who will continue to monitor their patient while awaiting assessment. Referrals are completed through EpicCare. The intake registered nurse is available to answer questions regarding referrals.
