Service Description: Multidisciplinary team of obstetricians/gynecologists, pediatricians, midwives and health care providers

Unit features:
  • 7 labour and delivery rooms
  • 6 postpartum rooms
  • 3 triage beds
  • Quiet room and waiting room for the comfort, privacy and inclusion of family members
  • Wavecare Sensory Delivery Room (first come, first serve)
  • whirlpool tubs
  • 24/7 anesthesiology coverage
  • two support persons allowed

Breastfeeding support available 24 hours a day, call 519-272-8232 to receive support from the staff on the Maternal Child Unit
 
Obstetrics - Inpatient care for pregnant women or new mothers
