Service Description: Diabetes education for children and adolescents

Children, adolescents and their families receive interdisciplinary care * follow-up is maintained at regular three month intervals for ongoing support and education * team members involved are paediatric endocrinologists, clinical nurse specialists and nurse clinicians, dietitians, social workers, child life and art therapy instructors, and psychologist by referral * fully developed insulin pump program
