Service Description: Comprehensive assessment and care for patients with inherited heart rhythm disorders * This is accomplished by an individualized, multidisciplinary, evidence-based approach that involve medical leadership and assessment, education

The features of the clinic include:
  • Medical evaluation by the heart rhythm team
  • comprehensive testing of the heart's electrical system and structure
  • genetic counseling and testing
  • treatment recommendations including lifestyle education
  • research to improve understanding of these disorders and their optimal diagnosis and treatment
Fees: Most services covered by OHIP
Application: Medical referral required
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: People with a range of different inherited cardiac conditions that can lead to abnormal heart rhythms that could result in fainting, cardiac arrest or sudden death
