Service Description: Diagnosis and treatment for adults who have had persistent non-cancer-related pain for more than six months * treatment options includes:

  • pharmacotherapy
  • nerve blocks with ultrasound or x-ray guidance
  • intravenous infusions
  • radiofrequency nerve ablation to treat neck and back pain
  • psychotherapy
  • rehabilitation and exercise plans
  • patient education
Fees: Covered by OHIP
Application: Medical referral required * referrals are triaged by a pain specialist
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Adults 18 years and older who have had chronic, non-cancer-related pain for more than six months * patient must have a family doctor willing to follow them after discharge from program
