Service Description: Supports Ontario's 4 million caregivers by being their one point of access to information, so they have what they need to be successful in their role * works alongside employers and caregiving employees to build the right resources and supports as caregivers balance work and caregiving demands * offers:
  • information, resources, support, and educational sessions for caregivers supporting family members, friends, and neighbours
  • support for caregivers of all ages, caring for people living with any condition within the province of Ontario
  • services and resources are available in English and French

1:1 Peer Mentor Program - Registered caregiver participants connect by phone or online/virtual discussion with an assigned peer mentor * mentors share their experience and knowledge to provide support

SCALE Program (Supporting Caregiver Awareness Learning and Empowerment)  - Practical information and skills to focus on mental health and well-being needs by offering:
  • weekly psychoeducational webinars (live or recorded) divided into two 4-week sessions 
  • strategies, tools, and resources to better cope with difficult caregiving emotions
  • free and confidential online group and individual counselling (optional)
  • space is limited, registration is based on first come, first-served basis.

1:1 Caregiver Coaching program - Up to six 1:1 support sessions to work-through caregiving challenges (by telephone or Zoom) focused on:
  • problem-solving and goal-setting strategies to help unpack complex or overwhelming caregiving difficulties
  • strengthening resilience skills to help manage stress
  • strategies, resources, and information tailored to suit caregivers needs
  • motivational support to make the necessary changes within the caregiving role
  • accountability for action-items

Toolkits and Resources for Caregivers - Wide range of tools, tips sheets and resources

Regional Lead connection and topic specific workshops - Can connect your group or organization with the regional lead, for future collaboration opportunities or information sessions * spaces limited

Anyone who needs a test can get one and does not need an OHIP card. Tests are made available by appointment only at assessment centres and at pharmacies
