Service Description: Carepoint Consumption and Treatment Services

Hosts medical and non-medical staff who assist individuals with:
  • supervised injection, including peer to peer assisted injection and supervised oral and intranasal drug consumption
  • naloxone administration and distribution 
  • harm reduction supplies including needles, syringes and other safe drug use equipment
  • disposal of used harm reduction supplies
  • education, information, health teachings and community referrals
  • site connected with community wrap around services including Addiction Services Thames Valley, London Intercommunity Health Centre, Middlesex London Health Unit, Southwest Ontario Aboriginal Health Access Centre, London Cares, Canadian Mental Health Association
