Residents of London and Middlesex now have up-to-date information about events that will keep them “in motion” thanks to a new RSS feed offered by thehealthline.ca. The RSS (really simple syndication) feed was developed in partnership with the new community-based initiative at inmotion4life.ca which is striving to make Middlesex-London Canada’s healthiest community. The feed provides people with information about healthy living events taking place in London and Middlesex County. The events that appear on thehealthline.ca are submitted by local health and social services organizations across the South West region.
This is the first RSS feed developed by thehealthline.ca, which is the largest provider of health and social services information in the South West region with more than 3,000 service records available to the public. “We’re excited to be working with community partners to share timely, relevant information that makes it possible for people to see the range of healthy choices available to them,” says Michael Robbins, coordinator, thehealthline.ca. “We hope to continue working with community organizations to develop tools and strategies that support healthy living.”
