Information Oxford and 211
How to Give and Get Help this Holiday Season
As people begin their holiday shopping and gift giving, Information Oxford and 211 are asking Oxford County residents to also keep in mind how they can share the holidays with those who need extra help this time of year.
The annual Holiday Sharing Guide for Oxford County is the community’s complete guide to local gift and toy drives, food basket programs, food banks, holiday meals and pet food drives. The online guide lets people know what and how to donate if they have help to offer, or how they can get help for themselves, family, or friends.
This year’s guide includes emotional resources that provide support during the holidays for those who find it a challenging time of year. Also in this guide are tips on how to start a food, toy, or pet drive. The guide features an expanded list of agencies offering community meals over the holidays, some include entertainment this year, food baskets, and gift and toy drives.
