Ontario is offering more services online to make it easier and more convenient for families to access important government services, when and where they need them.
With ServiceOntario meeting its service guarantee for more than 99 per cent of its online transactions, going online is a safe, reliable way to avoid waiting in line and travelling in winter weather.

- About 10.5 million online transactions are completed every year.
- Ontario is the first province in Canada to provide drivers with an online driver’s licence renewal service.
- Since 2007, more than 720,000 Ontario newborns have been registered online.
- The Government of Ontario is committed to ensuring the privacy of personal information. Online government services automatically encrypt all confidential information to ensure the highest level of protection possible, similar to online banking systems.
