Cancer Care Ontario
2014 Tobacco Report Released
This morning, Cancer Care Ontario released the 2014 Tobacco Report that highlights smoking rates in Ontario. New smoking statistics indicate tobacco use is responsible for almost 10,000 cases of cancer in Ontario. Despite long-term declines in smoking rates, a large number of Ontario adults continue to smoke. And due to population growth, the number of smokers is expected to rise in future years even if the smoking rate remains steady. Click here to view the full report.
