Healthcare Inspiration Event to Honour Caregivers
The Huron Perth Area Providers Table, Healthcare Human Resources Subcommittee has organized its Annual Healthcare Inspiration Event to recognize our outstanding healthcare professionals and caregivers. On Tuesday May 27, 2014 officials from across both counties will gather with candidates who have been nominated. The event will be held at the Zurich Mennonite Church. The doors open at 6:00 pm with dinner at 7:00 pm.
Nominations are being accepted now for those that have shown accomplishments, dedication and commitment to their profession and their work in healthcare. Nominations can be made in 3 categories that include Individual Nominations, Team Nominations, and Organization Nominations. Specific Nominations include: Rookie of the Year, Team Work, Life Time Achievement, Growth and Fulfillment, Inspiration, and many others! This event will provide our communities the opportunity to honour those individuals, teams, and organizations who give so much. Nomination deadline is Tuesday April 1, 2014 at 12:00 noon.
Students are invited to apply for two (2) $500 scholarships! The scholarships will be award to one (1) Huron County and one (1) Perth County resident who will be attending a post-secondary institution in a healthcare or healthcare related field in the Fall of 2014. Applications will be accepted until April 1, 2014 at 12:00 noon. Scholarships will be awarded at the Healthcare Inspiration Event and are provided through the Huron Perth Area Providers Table.
HealthKick is pleased to be a sponsor again this year for this wonderful event and the planning committee welcomes sponsorships from across Huron and Perth. Last year nearly thirty people were nominated and they were all recognized for their contribution to their profession. One hundred and thirty people attended the event including distinguished presenters with participation from provincial and municipal government, and healthcare officials. The time to honour our healthcare workforce is every time we need them, this is an event to show we need them all.
