6th Annual Inspiration Event To Honour Caregivers
The Huron Perth Area Providers Council Healthcare Human Resources Subcommittee has organized its 6th Inspiration Event to recognize our outstanding healthcare professionals and caregivers. On Tuesday May 27, 2014 officials from across both counties will gather with candidates who have been nominated. The event will be held at the Zurich Mennonite Church. The doors open at 6:00 pm with dinner at 7:00 pm with the program to follow.
Nominations have been collected for those who have shown accomplishments, dedication and commitment to their profession. Nominations were made in the following categories: Rookie of the Year, Quality in Service, Most Valuable Player, Team, Inter Occupational Work, Life Time Achievement, Youth Engagement, and the Inspiration! This event will provide our communities the opportunity to honour these individuals who give so much.
Applications have also been received from post-secondary students from across both Huron and Perth for the Huron Perth Area Providers Table scholarship! The two scholarship recipients will be presented with their scholarship at the Inspiration Event. The applicants were judged on their essay that outlined their past accomplishments in their community and healthcare field, their present achievements in their education and healthcare related goals, and their future goals and ambitions as they related to their community and healthcare.
HealthKick, County of Huron, Huron Perth Area Provider Table, Medical Pharmacies Group Limited, MediSystem Pharmacy, and Horizon ProResp are pleased to be sponsors for this wonderful event. Everyone that is nominated will be recognized for their contribution to their role in providing quality healthcare service to our communities.
Distinguished presenters and participation will be recognized from provincial and municipal government, and healthcare officials. The time to honour our healthcare workforce is every time we need them, this is an event to show we need them all.
