Grey Bruce Eat and Learn, New Heights Fitness Centre
Join Us for a Great Cause! Walk/Run 4 Health – Celebrating Local Health

We’re very excited! The 6th annual 5/10 km Walk/Run 4 Health taking place at New Heights Fitness Centre is fast approaching. This year’s event will raise money for Grey Bruce Eat and Learn. This great organization supports children nutrition programs in Grey and Bruce ensuring that our children eat healthy!

The event will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2014 starting at 10:00 am. We will start it all off with a 1km kids Fun Run. Following the Fun Run will be a 5km or 10km walk or run; walkers and runners will be starting at New Heights Fitness & Wellness Centre located in Hanover’s Business Park and running through the town of Hanover, as well as Hanover’s beautiful trail system. The event will be professionally timed for accurate results.

No one will want to miss out on this event – MacLean’s Ales will be offering up free samples of their tasty local brew following the run; Pita Pit will be on site selling their delicious and nutritious pitas for only $5 each; ThePathOutback Farm will be holding an outdoor market proudly displaying and selling locally grown produce; participants will be thankful for the free post-run massages being handed out by Sabina Thomson, RMT and Chris Wood, RMT.

Everyone is welcome, family and friends are encouraged to come out to the event to support and cheer on the participants! The early bird registration fee is $30 per person ($40 per person after May 30th) and 100% of this fee will go to support Grey Bruce Eat and Learn. The Kids’ Fun Run registration fee is $10 ($2 for each additional child from the same family).
