St. Joseph's Welcomes the Community to Tour the New Mental Health Care Facility
More than a decade in the making, St. Joseph’s new mental health care facility will have its official grand opening on Friday November 7, but before then the community is welcome to attend an open house to see the new building before the patients and staff move in later this month.
“We are thrilled to be less than two weeks away from moving patients into our new dignified and purpose-built facility,” says Deb Corring, director of mental health care transformation for St. Joseph’s. “It has taken many dedicated people to get to where we are today.”
The public and media are invited to attend the open house where they will enjoy a self-guided tour of the main floor and outdoor spaces, view an art display created by those whose lives have been touched by mental illness and learn about the mental health care programs and services provided by St. Joseph’s Health Care London.
