City Launches New Online Survey Seeking Input on Strategic Plan

Today, the City of London launched a new online survey seeking public input on the strategies to include in Council’s 2015-2019 Strategic Plan.

“This survey gives Londoners the chance to answer the question ‘what priorities are most important to you?’ The feedback we receive is incredibly valuable and will help City Council shape our Strategic Plan so that it reflects what is important to Londoners,” said Mayor Matt Brown.

The survey consists of four sections, identified by Council as the focus areas for the next four years: strengthening our community, building a sustainable city, growing our economy and leading in public service.

Londoners also have the opportunity to provide feedback at ward meetings with City Councillors, tweet us at #ldnstratplan, email stratplan@london.ca, or call us at 519-930-3516. A complete listing of the draft strategies is available online www.london.ca/stratplan.

City Council has been working on the development of the Strategic Plan since December 3, and has confirmed the draft vision, mission, and value statements, and defined four strategic areas of focus.

Council will be receiving the public’s input at the Strategic Priorities and Planning Committee (SPPC) meeting at 9 am on February 6. It is anticipated that Council’s final Strategic Plan will be approved on March 10, 2015.
