International Women’s Day Celebrated in Stratford
The Multicultural Association of Perth-Huron is helping Stratford celebrate International Women’s Day in a festive event on Saturday March 7th. The evening celebration will include a multicultural buffet, keynote speaker Wei Shao, and live music by Big Jon and the Honkin’ Swans!
“Wei Shao will lead a tremendous celebration of how women are capable of achieving all they can be”, stated Geza Wordafa, founder of the Multicultural Association of Perth-Huron. “Ms. Shao accomplished a great deal in the Japanese automotive industry, where she was CFO for Hitachi before immigrating to Canada where she now resides in Huron County. Her perspective will be engaging and we are expecting an entertaining evening overall.”
The theme for International Women’s Day 2015 is “Empowering Women - Empowering Humanity: Picture It!"
The event is being held at the Festival Inn, Stratford. Tickets are $20.00 and are available until Feb 28th, 2015 at the United Centre, 32 Erie Street, Stratford. For more information about this event please contact the Multicultural Association of Perth-Huron at 519-271-7730.
