These six outstanding volunteers are members of the Clinton Public Hospital Auxiliary and combined have dedicated over 70 years of service to improving the patient experience.

“Shirley, Linda, Grace, Ann, Kathleen and Joann are wonderful examples of the impact one’s gift of service can be to our staff and patients. They each have unique talents which have helped the volunteer program at the hospital flourish,” says Cheryl Hunt, Corporate Lead Volunteer Services.

Awards were presented as follows:

“I joined Clinton Public Hospital Auxiliary after retiring from full-time nursing. I enjoy volunteering so that I can be with people and meet new people,” says Linda Dunford. “I understand the need for volunteers in health care and I am thankful that I can "give back" to our community”.

“2015 marks 95 years of volunteer commitment at the Clinton Public Hospital,” states Hunt. “We are so grateful to each and every volunteer who shares their time and talents to improve the patient experience. Our group in Clinton is exceptional.
