Elgin St Thomas Public Health
Strategic Planning – Hearing from the Public
Have your say!
Elgin St. Thomas Public Health is in the process of setting its strategic plan that will include a ten year vision for public health in Elgin St. Thomas as well as three year strategic directions. The Board of Health is very interested in hearing from the public about their ideas related to the vision and to public health priorities. “Everyone is touched by public health. For this reason it is essential that we hear from our residents to understand their vision for public health and their public health priorities. We are excited to hear the perspectives of those in the community. We hope that residents will share their ideas and feedback,” says Heather Jackson, Chair, Elgin St. Thomas Board of Health.
Residents of Elgin St. Thomas are invited to share their feedback through an online survey that will take 10-15 minutes to complete and will be open to the public until May 15, 2015. “Because our strategic planning process includes creating a ten year vision for public health in Elgin St. Thomas we are expanding our process to include the voices of those who use and receive our services. The voice of the public is critical as we set the direction for our future,” says Cynthia St. John, Executive Director.
The survey can be accessed through our website: www.elginhealth.on.ca. Elgin St. Thomas Public Health provides services to area residents, professionals and businesses throughout Elgin County. Some of these services include:
