Restorative Care Unit Operations Extended
South Bruce Grey Health Centre (SBGHC) has received notice from the South West Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) that that funding will be provided to extend operation of the Restorative Care Unit for an additional six months.
During this period, SBGHC will be working closely with local health care partners on developing a sustainable regional plan for restorative care services, as directed by the South West LHIN.
“SBGHC’s Restorative Care program has proven to be successful in helping our senior population return home after an acute illness,” says Paul Rosebush, SBGHC President and CEO. “With all of the advocating we have done for this program, it has become clear to all parties involved that this type of service needs to be maintained. We are very grateful for the support of the Health Minister, our dedicated MPPs and members of the community.”
