Join us at the Age Friendly London Year Two Open House and Celebration
Age Friendly London will hold its Two Year Open House and Celebration. People and organizations interested in participating or working with the Age Friendly London Network are welcome to attend. Last year Age Friendly London had 31 benches installed in parks to enhance the available seating and enjoyment for older adults, and started work on key projects including a multi-lingual resource tool teaching older adults how to use the local bus/transit system, and a checklist for businesses to help them adjust to serving/attracting customers from our aging population. A summary of work done, and new initiatives to make London more Age Friendly will be presented at the event. More information about Age Friendly London is available at www.london.ca/agefriendly.
