HPHA's Annual General Meeting: Investing in the Future, Celebrating the Past

The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) recently held its Annual General Meeting, celebrating achievements over the past year and looking forward to future opportunities. HPHA Staff, Medical Staff and Volunteers including Board, Foundation and Local Advisory Committee (LAC) members were recognized for their dedication to the organization and ongoing commitment to the communities we serve.

Board and LAC members not continuing in their position with the Alliance were recognized for the tremendous contributions they have made to local healthcare. Those thanked included:

  • Phil Buxton, Stratford LAC (2003-2015)
  • Michael McKenna, Stratford LAC (2003-2015)
  • Dr. Brian Hughes, HPHA Board of Directors (2006-2015)
  • Anne Lake, Stratford LAC (2012-2015)
  • Colin Pearson, HPHA Board of Directors (2012-2014)
  • Kathy Sebastian, Seaforth LAC (2013-2015)

“Our organization, and more importantly our communities are fortunate to benefit from the skills and commitment of dedicated volunteers,” stated HPHA Board Chair Mary Atkinson. “I want to extend my sincere thanks to them, and to our entire HPHA team for the passion and caring brought to all that they do.”

Guided by the voices of our patients, families and staff, the HPHA is investing in the future of healthcare by embracing our three Strategic Principles: Supporting People, Improving Performance and Strengthening Partnerships so we can remain, strong, flexible and responsive to the needs of our patients today, tomorrow and in the years to come.
