City of London
City continues to build new Community Economic Roadmap
The City of London, local business leaders, the Chamber of Commerce and the London Economic Development Corporation are holding their third of three meetings to continue to develop a Community Economic Road Map.
The event will be held at the London Convention Centre on Wednesday September 9, from 7:30 to 10:30am.
London’s economy has changed considerably over the last several decades. The new economic reality calls for new approaches to economic development to encourage opportunities that allow all residents to benefit. London’s Community Economic Roadmap is engaging Londoners to create a broad set of objectives and specific actions to guide the community in its pursuit of economic success.
Media are invited to attend the opening of the session (7:30am) for interview opportunities, photos, videotaping or at the end of the session (10:30am).
Mayor Matt Brown and City Manager Art Zuidema will kick off the session at 8am.
There will be a media table provided. Media who stay for the entire session are asked to remain seated until the working session is over (10:30am).
