Huron Launch of Health Kids Community Challenge
Huron County, ON – The County of Huron is one of 45 Ontario communities selected for the province’s Healthy Kids Community Challenge.
Media is invited to join us on October 29, 2015 at the West Huron Care Centre in Zurich for the official launch of this exciting project. Learn more about the Challenge and interview some of the project members, including Michele Hansen, Council Woman, Town of Goderich.
The event will include remarks from community leaders, kids’ active games, a rhythm circle and kids’ in the kitchen activities.
The Healthy Kids Community Challenge focuses on healthy lifestyles for children and youth, especially healthy eating and physical activity. This initiative is funded and supported by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
