One Year Later: A discussion of mental health & homelessness

On November 3, 2014, Dave MacPherson lost his life in a fire in an unregulated group home in London, On. One year later, The London Poverty Research Centre at King's is asking," What has changed since then?”

Join our special guests: former London Police Chief Brad Duncan, former Middlesex CMHA CEO Don Seymour, Executive Director of London Inter-Community Health Centre Michelle Hurtubise and Poverty Research Centre Board Member Sean Quigley as we unpack our homelessness and mental health issues in London. The discussion will inform The Poverty Research Centre at King’s on where to focus research and to more effectively engage with stakeholders and community. This event launches the Centre’s focus on mental health and housing, one of three priority areas for the Centre.

The discussion takes place on Thursday November 5, 2015 from 5pm to 6:30pm, Bessie Labatt Hall, Room 105C, 266 Epworth Ave, London. Parking available in lot 1, north side of Epworth Ave.
