Winter Wonderland: Lighting of the Lights 2015 in Victoria Park
Kickoff the 2015 holiday season with the official lighting of the lights in Victoria Park on Friday, November 27, 2015. Caroling begins at 6:15 pm, followed by the countdown to the illumination of the park at 6:50 pm.
Victoria Park's festive decorations and outdoor skating rink are a longstanding tradition in London's celebration of the holiday season. The skating rink is scheduled to open daily from 10 am to 10 pm starting on Friday, December 4 (weather permitting).
Winter Wonderland lights will be on November 27 through December 30 from 5:30 pm to 11 pm daily, and on December 31 the lights will be on from 5:30 pm and remain on through the night.
The City Hall Promenade Deck will be open to the public to view the lights nightly from 7 pm to 11 pm starting Friday, November 27. The deck will be open nightly except for the following dates: December 8, 21, 25, 26, 31 and January 1, 2016.
In addition to more than 75,000 lights decorating trees in the park, there are a variety of festive displays, including the latest addition of “Santa’s House”. Photos with Santa are available from November 27 to December 23 daily from 1-4 pm and 6-9 pm with a donation. Funds raised will go to the Teresina Larizza Charity (TLC) which provides comfort and joy for children facing seemingly insurmountable health challenges, particularly those in hospital.
