Board Ratifies Agreement with ONA Local 004
The Board of Health for the Grey Bruce Health Unit is pleased to announce ratification of a tentative agreement reached in recent contract negotiations with the Ontario Nurses Association (ONA) Local 004, representing Registered Nurses and Public Health Nurses.The Board of Health noted the amicable relationship between the two parties.
The four-year contract, beginning January 1, 2016, honours the provincial public sector message of fiscal restraint with wage increases of 1.5% in the first year, 1.5% in the second year, 1.75% in the third year, and aligning wages with other sectors within the organization in the fourth year. The agreement also includes a signing bonus and makes adjustments in contract language.
