Start the New Year off the right way by recycling your Christmas tree

From Friday, January 1st to Saturday, January 9th, Londoners can drop off their tree at one of six depots:

SouthAmway (Exeter Rd, by White Oak Rd - West end of parking lot)
SouthMitches Park (Upper Queens St parking lot)
CentralSt Julien Works Yard (South end of St Julien St)
EastStronach Park (Beckworth Ave parking lot)
WestSpringbank Park (West entrance parking lot by Boler Rd)
NorthAdelaide Works Yard (Adelaide St North at Kipps Lane)

Please note: Masonville Place, near Nash Jewellers, is no longer a depot.

Through the holiday season and after January 9th, Christmas trees and holiday greenery can also be taken to a Community EnviroDepot (see your Waste Reduction and Conservation Calendar or www.london.ca for locations and hours of operation) or held until the first yard material collection week in the spring. Trees may also be placed out at the curb with your regular garbage, but will not be composted when collected with garbage.

Please remember, before bringing your tree to a Depot or placing it curbside, to remove all decorations including tinsel and garland. At the depot we ask that you remove any ties and plastic bags covering your tree and take them home with you.

The City of London and its partners at Try Recycling, Amway and the London Food Bank are working together to keep London green.
