YOUth in Office

Are you interested in Canadian politics? Are you involved with Boys and Girls Clubs or Big Brothers Big Sisters? If so, you are invited to spend a day on the Hill!

For the third annual YOUth in Office, you will be matched with a Member of Parliament and his or her staff to experience a day in the world of Parliament - from Assistants to Members and Party Leaders, from Communications Directors to Policy Advisors and Ministers.

What Happens Next?

  • Apply! Ask your Club or Agency to provide you with the application form
  • Complete and hand in the form by March 11
  • Attend a training session in Ottawa on May 30
  • Spend the day with an MP and his or her staff on May 31
  • Attend Question Period in the House of Commons
  • Let us know how it all went in person and via social media!
