Get HIP and Win! Chance for Parents in Perth County to Win $50 Gift Card
"Get HIP and Win!" From April 15 to May 15, 2016, everyone who registers to receive the Health Information for Parents (HIP) e-newsletter will be entered into a draw to win one of three $50 Visa gift cards.
The HIP e-newsletter is free and for parents of school-age children and teens. There are two versions of HIP: one for parents with children in grades K-6; and one for parents with youth in grades 7-12.
The HIP e-newsletter was launched in 2013. Articles for parents of elementary children have included "Teaching your Child about their Emotions," and "How does Screen Time Affect Your Kids?" Articles for parents of teens have covered topics like talking with your child about alcohol, self-esteem, and unhealthy relationships.
The HIP e-newsletter:
- comes out 3 times per year: fall, winter and spring
- contains reliable health information relevant to your family on topics such as nutrition, mental wellness, safety, immunization, and positive communication
- includes important updates and links to community supports.
