Middlesex County Ontario Works Potential Canada Post Disruption Information

Your Ontario Works office has a plan in place to assist you with receiving your payments and benefits on time.

At this time, there is no mail service delivery issues and your monthly entitlement will be sent or has been sent by mail on Monday June 27, 2016 - provided you submitted your income statement and other required documents to your caseworker.

In the event of a disruption in mail delivery services, alternate arrangements for getting your monthly cheque will be posted on our website at www.middlesex.ca.

If you receive your Ontario Works payments through direct deposits, payments will be deposited into your bank account as usual. If you do not have direct deposit, you are encouraged to sign up for this as soon as possible to avoid delays in receiving your monthly cheque should situations such as this arise again.

In the event of a disruption in mail delivery services, you are responsible to submit your income reporting statement, and other required documents each month. You can drop off information at Strathroy Library, Parkhill Library, QUEST Centre in Glencoe, or Lucan Library.

If you have any questions about your Ontario Works payment or benefit, please call your caseworker.
