HPHA Welcomes New Board Members
At its recent Annual General Meeting, the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) was pleased to welcome three hew members; Stephen Hearn, Kim Ross Jones and Ron Lavoie, who join the other eight Elected Board Members providing strategic oversight to the organization.
"We are grateful and excited to have this new group of individuals join our Board of Directors," says HPHA Board Chair, Mary Atkinson. "Each brings their own unique talents expertise and perspectives to the table to help us further our mission of providing best practice healthcare."
In welcoming new Board Members, the HPHA also said goodbye and than you to both Sheila Mortan (2006-2016) and Leslie Showers (2004-2016), recognizing the tremendous passion and leadership they both brought to the Board, the HPHA and their respective communities throughout their tenure.
"On behalf of the Board of Directors I would like to extend my gratitude for the commitment, and dedication that both Sheila and Leslie have provided," adds Atkinson. "We have been very fortunate to have had the support of their leadership over the years."
The Annual General Meeting also saw the release of HPHA's Annual Report at a Glance, which provides an assessment of the year past and a glimpse of the year ahead.
