Clinton Public Hospital - Emergency Department
Temporary Closure: Clinton Public Hospital Emergency Department
Due to health human resource shortages, the Emergency Department (ED) at the Clinton Public Hospital site of the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) will be closed beginning at 8pm on Friday, June 27th, 2025. Regular hours of operation (8am to 8pm) will resume on Sunday, June 29th. On Monday, June 30th, the ED will again be closed, with services resuming at 8am Tuesday, July 1st.
Anyone requiring immediate medical attention should ccall 9-1-1. Paramedics will remain available to the community and will re-route to the nearest available Emergency Department to ensure local residents continue to have access to the emergency services they need.
For non-urgent health care, call Health Connect Ontario at 811, which is available 24/7 for non-emergency health-related questions.
