Tony Woolgar, CEO of the South West Local
Health Integration Network (LHIN), recently
announced the appointment of four key members
of his team, and the permanent location of the
LHIN’s administrative centre at 201 Queens Ave in
London.
The South West LHIN is one of 14
organizations created across Ontario. LHINs will be
responsible for planning, coordinating, and
funding health care services in their communities,
including hospitals, Community Care Access
Centres, long-term care, mental health,
community health centres and addiction and
community support services.
Elisabete Way has been appointed Senior
Director of Performance, Contracts and Allocation.
Among other initiatives, Way spearheaded the
implementation of a health system performance
report in New Zealand that served as a benchmark
for other hospitals. She also has extensive
experience in the private sector.
Kelly Gillis, who most recently worked as City-
wide Director of Medical Services for the London
Hospitals, will become Senior Director of
Planning, Integration and Community
Engagement. Gillis also has experience as a
Systems Integration Leader for the Huron-Perth
Hospitals Partnership, and as a Senior Health
Planner with both the Huron-Perth and Thames
Valley District Health Councils.
Jodi Martin, who helped set up and manage
the Help Desk for a federally-funded telehealth
project and worked with several London health
organizations, will serve as Office Manager.
Dianne Marshall, who will be Mr. Woolgar’s
Executive Assistant, held a similar EA position at
the CCAC-Oxford.
