Service Description: Outpatient and inpatient education clinic supports for people living with prediabetes or diabetes * registered nurse and dietitian on staff

Services offered:
  • Assessment, clinical monitoring and management
  • Weekly diabetes clinics with Dr. McLean, Endocrinologist
  • Assistive Devices Program (ADP) certified offering insulin pump therapy
  • Blood pressure and blood sugar checks
  • Self-referrals are accepted
  • Focus on prevention of complications and development of healthy lifestyle habits
  • Individual counselling for nutrition, weight management, pre-diabetes, and diabetes
  • Group education
  • Provision of blood sugar meters and education on their use
