Level 1 Obstetrical Care
Large birthing suites, en suite washrooms with large tubs and kitchenette facilities in a secured unit * labour support (one to one nursing care)
Team consists of:- eight family physicians
- two midwifery groups
- specially trained OB nurses
- registered practical nurses
- lactation consultants
- social workers
postnatal follow-up clinic 48 hours after discharge
Obstetrical services provided by family doctors
