Service Description: 14-bed inpatient palliative care unit

Care is provided by an interdisciplinary team and addresses such areas as symptom control, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs

Facilities include quiet rooms * sleep chairs/cots are also available on a limited basis

Palliative Care Acute Consultation Service - Provided within the London Health Sciences Centre system
Fees: Most services covered by OHIP
Application: Admission through family doctor or unit medical director
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Adults 18 years and older, with a progressive life threatening illness for which curative treatment has ceased
Languages: English
Language Note: Interpretation available upon request for most branches of the London Health Sciences Centre
