Service Description: Library Settlement Workers provide information and referrals about resources offered by the library and the community

Information available on the following:
  • language learning and assessment
  • schools and education, continuing education
  • immigration and citizenship issues
  • careers and employment options
  • housing, legal and health care
  • library materials in other languages
  • library programs and services
  • volunteer opportunities
LSP Workers also provide Citizenship preparation classes

Program is offered at: Beacock Branch Library, StoneyCreek Branch Library and Masonville Branch Library

Application: Drop-in and by appointment
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Refugee claimants, Canadian citizens, foreign domestic workers, and Minister's permit holders
