Small Claims Court - Lawsuits under $35,000 * parties may represent themselves or lawyer attended * ground floor

Civil Filing - Lawsuits over $35,000 * applications to have lawyers' accounts assessed * Divisional Court appeals * ground floor

Family Court - For applications under the Family Law Act, the Children's Law Reform Act and other related legislation * will deal with all family law matters including divorce, property division, support, custody, access, adoption and child protection * applicant/creditors may enforce court orders for support obtained before March 1992 * actions since then are enforced through the Family Responsibility Office * ground floor

Criminal Court - For applications under the Youth Criminal Justice Act (12-17 years) Criminal Code actions, the Narcotics Safety and Awareness Act and other related federal criminal legislation * fine payments * 2nd floor

Justice of the Peace (JP) - Assists people in laying criminal charges privately against another person * issues restraining orders (note: does not perform civil wedding ceremonies) * 2nd floor
