Service Description: Public library * large print books, books and CD * home delivery service * free computer and wireless access to the Internet * technology assistance * telephone, email and walk-in reference services offer personal assistance with information requests * online databases to access newspapers, magazines and health related resources from the website * seasonal programs available

Technology - Public computers and Wi-Fi, 24/7 printing available, MakerSpace including 3D printer, vinyl cutter

Home Delivery Service - Users unable to visit the library due to illness or disability can arrange to have library materials selected based on their own preference and delivered to their home

Whale of a Tale - Drop-in family story time, songs, puppets, craft and play for preschoolers * Mon 6:30pm-7:15pm in the library * no registration required

Baby Steps (6-20 months) - For infants and caregivers * play time followed by story time * an opportunity for families to interact with one another * free drop-in no registration required * check website for dates and times

Story Starters for Preschoolers - Early literacy program featuring early learning centres * activities to help children become familiar with stories through play, talking, singing, listening and reading * children are to be accompanied by an adult * check website for dates and times * free drop-in, no registration required

Reading Buddies - One-to-one 8 week reading program for school aged children * gives the opportunity to read and play games with a trained volunteer * check website for dates and times * registration required

CNIB/CELA - (Canadian National Institute for the Blind/Centre for Equitable Library Access) - access to accessible formats for people with print disabilities * free, call for details

Technology Tutors - drop in assistance with technology provided by volunteers * dates and times vary



Public Library on Wheels - Delivers preschool and toddler reading programs, age appropriate lending collections, and knowledgeable support staff to areas currently under serviced by traditional library facilities * see website for additional information

Drop-in for a chat with a Partners in Employment Career Counselor at the Stratford Public Library. Discuss your next steps, and how to build the career you love. First Thursday afternoon of every month, 2-4

Settlement Services - Settlement Workers from the YMCA of Three Rivers are available in the Library to support newcomer and immigrant needs by providing information in areas including orientation to library programs, citizenship, housing, education, English Language Assessment and referrals to community resources. Services are offered remotely, by phone or in person. Every Thursday afternoon 2-4.

Snack Stop Food Pantry - Whether your study session's gone marathon, you forgot part of your lunch, or your budget is getting stretched by inflation, we've got you! SPL's Snack Stop stocks both snack foods and non-perishables that are free and available whenever the library is open. Please help yourself!

Social Worker Drop-in Hours - 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, 1-3pm
