Service Description: Planned respite for children and youth, 17 years of age or younger, with an eligible diagnosis * applications reviewed by respite Committee made up of community partnerships * gives periods of relief or rest for caregivers, supports family life, relieves stress * respite can be done in the community, the dependent client's own home or in the home of the respite provider * families provide their own workers. Not to be used as childcare while working or during regular school hours.
Fees: Respite funds may be available for eligible families.
