Service Description: Community health centre offers services for all ages including community programs and social work, physiotherapy, dietitian and kinesiology services

Community-led health teams develop programs to improve the social supports and conditions that affect long-term health

Programs include:
  • smoking cessation
  • fitness and recreation - walking programs, VON SMART exercise program, pilates, chair fitness, basketball and pickleball at the Arena
  • community food programs
  • hospitality meals - dinners, community cafe, Grab' n Go breakfast
  • Seniors Young at Heart congregate dining
  • after-school program for grades 4-8

Scheduled appointments and programs delivered on-site by community partners - Ontario Works, legal services, diabetes education, mental health services, employment services, skills upgrading and financial counselling
 
English as a Second Language (ESL) Classes - English as a Second Language class offered weekly for women and newcomers needing to improve written and verbal English skills * free childcare provided on-site for children 13 months and over, must register in advance
