Service Description: Through the Community Connections program, LUSO provides activities and events for adults and families who are Permanent Residents, Protected Persons or CUAET Status. 

Activities help newcomer individuals adapt to life in Canada and build social networks to help with overall integration.

Services include:
  • conversation circles
  • community events and cultural activities for families
  • cooking Program
  • activities specifically for wormen
  • group sessions on topics such as employment, financial literacy, support services available etc.

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Refugee claimants, Canadian citizens, foreign domestic workers, and Minister's permit holders
