Service Description: Peer support groups for parents and caregivers of children with mental health issues. Groups are offered in-person and virtually in regions across Ontario. The groups are led by volunteer family peer support workers who are parents and caregivers on their own journey supporting their child with mental health needs. Chapters meet regularly providing parents and caregivers a safe and friendly place to connect with others, feel heard and get help navigating the child and youth mental health system. It’s also a chance to hear from others experiencing similar challenges.
Application: Referrals are accepted from anyone, including self-referrals. Please call, email or visit the website to find a peer support chapter near you.
